hey guys! i've decided not to continue with my cosmetology apprenticeship...yes, a beauty school drop out! had lots of fun but, they're sharks around here & that wasn't for me. i have forfex cordless clippers & trimmers (only used occasionally for 3 weeks), oster trimmers, extention pliers & a variety of other other goodies ( some new & some barely used!)i'd love to sell at a discount & try to recoup some of my money. anybody interested let me know or tell me where if post if this is inappropriate to post here! thanks, leah

tips for wigs

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF CREATING A SNOW WITCH COSTUME. MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE LONG BLACK HAIR. I THINK A WHITE WIG WITH A TRIBAL JAPANESE FEEL IS THE WAY TOGO. COSPLAY IS IS VERY CLOSE TO THE LOOK I WANT. I AM PRETTY GREEN IN THE WIG AREA. ANYBODY OUT THERE HAVE ANY HANDY TIP FOR STYLING XLONG WIGS.

Anime Hair Emergency

Okay, so I got invited to this Anime/Alice in Wonderland themed party for Holloween, and I really wanna knock the Anime hair out of the ball park. I have thick hair which may be described as greasey by some. I perfer to say Im italian and, therefore, can manufacture my own pomade. My hair is long enuff to do anime spikey thing but Im pretty sure at its current length (down past my ears on the side, past my eyes in the front, and down most of my neck in the back) it'll fall down and look stupid after, like, an hour.

What Im thinking of doing is washing my hair (GASP), then using murrays pomade....after that I put on a headband and hang upside down twirling it to get the spikes. Then, still upside down, I aquanet the shit outta my head in the hopes that'll keep it up.

Anyone know a good way to get anime spikes with heavy, thick hair, that doesnt require going to the hair salon (too expensive, Im po') and abusing it until it falls out. I need to be my scruffy self with my hair down if I wanna keep my job come the next monday.

P.S. My hair is a bit longer then in my first profile pic (the one with my back tattoo visible) but that should give you a good idea as to its thickness.

i am low on cash right now and looking to barter for a stylish haircut (and ideally color too). right now i have a chin length bob, thick wavy hair.

any hairdressers in here interested in a barter situation? i work for a "modern luxury" line of cosmetics and skin care. i can offer you retail product of makeup, skin care, or fragrance. i can also do your makeup for a special event, either in the store or at your location of choice-- assuming its somewhere i can get too.

well, i'm back from mpls and training with the hairpolice, and i'm super inspired and chomping at the bit to do some fun hair!

i can now do synthetic and human hair extensions, with pinchbraids and string, weaves, synthetic dreads and dread perms.
